Limits

Default storage, project, record, and file limits in Patchnet Projects, and what happens when you reach one.

This reference lists the default limits in Patchnet Projects. Your organization's limits may differ; ask your workspace admin.

Projects and records

  • 25 projects per member
  • 100 projects per organization
  • 10,000 records per project
  • 1 MB of text per record body

Storage

  • 100 MB per project
  • 500 MB per member
  • 2 GB per organization

Files

  • 50 MB per uploaded file
  • The built-in agent reads text files such as .md, .txt, .csv, .json, .yaml, .html, .xml, and .log.
  • Whether agents can read .docx, .xlsx, and .pptx files depends on your workspace's setup. You can store them either way.
  • You can store .zip files, but agents cannot read their contents yet.
  • .svg files are not accepted.

Chat

  • Up to 15 files attached to one chat message
  • Up to 512,000 characters per attached text file. A longer file is left out of the message, not cut short.

Writes

  • Up to 50 record writes per minute and 1,000 per day for each person, including the agents that act for them
  • If your agent writes too quickly, the error says how long to wait before trying again.

When you reach a limit

The action stops and you see a message that names the limit. Nothing already saved is lost. To make room, archive projects you no longer need or remove files you no longer use, or ask your workspace admin about higher limits.
